Why we're different:
Unfortunately, in today's business world, we have found that clients tend to refer to all providers of people as "recruiters" or staffing agencies. Executive Search Consultants is a "search firm" and we refer to ourselves as "search consultants".

Recruiters most often throw candidates at companies where there appears to be an opening. "Recruiters" surf the Internet, run ads and serve up candidates who look "close" and then make the client sort things out and do most of the work. Typically they know very little about the candidate's skills, motivation and ability to make a career change. They discount their service fee because often they have nothing really to offer other than a lower price.

As a "search firm", we take great pains to develop a partnership with the client. We are thorough in our understanding of what exactly is needed to fill a critical position. We take the opportunity to the market and directly contact specific individuals on their behalf. Before a candidate is presented to a client, we have determined that this person is not only qualified for the job, but also very interested in the opportunity and available to relocate if necessary.
